I had this really great plan to Start a Sunday challenge, but in light of Sunday's developments, I felt like I would be setting myself up for failure and disrespecting the memory of Chris' grandfather.
Yesterday, we found out that Chris' grandfather passed away. This was not an unexpected development; however, it's never easy to lose someone you love. But, now we all know that he is sitting in heaven with his wife--who he has been looking for since she passed away.
So, all forthcoming plans have been canceled in favor of a trip to Arkansas to say goodbye to a man who even in the late stages of Alzheimer's disease could bring a smile to the faces of everone around him. Alll prayer's for the Sheets family are welcomed.

Super Saturday
Location: my condo
Temp: low 50s and sunny with rain every now and then
Current Activity: browing the internet for good deals, watching the SEC basketball tourney, and as always, loving my kitties.
Saturday Secret: I LOVE college basketball. To be honest, there aren't many sports that I don't enjoy--much to the dismay of my mother. Granted, so I have to watch in person to really enjoy, ie baseball, but for the most part, I have such appreciation for athelets and the games themselves.
Plan for the rest of the day: Potentially take a nap with my adorable Siamese cat, Hudson; he is currently curled up in my bed under the covers with his head on a pillow. He has no idea that he is a cat. :-) Clean the disaster that is my kitchen. Do some laundry...
Thought for the day: I really need to learn how to put pictures on here. And, I should probably either put my contacts in or put my glasses on so I know what I'm typing.
Money tips: One of my best friends, who I will refer to from time to time (Mrs. Jones), has turned me onto several very helpful blogs. I love to clip coupons, I find it be very therapeutic, but I can't always find coupons for what I need. So here are the blogs that Mrs. Jones directed me to that give printable coupons and amazing deals AND ways to combine it all to save some dollars.

and I can't not put up a link to the one, the only Mrs. Jones...

Introductions, please.
I'm totally new to this whole blogging thing. So, I will start from the beginning. My name is Mrs. Page, and I'm a speech language pathologist in ___________, Alabama. I grew up in a very small town in south Alabama where my family owns a little lumber company. When I graduated from high school, I headed north to Birmingham-Southern College where I started my education, but I finished the rest of it at the University of Alabama.
In August of 2009, I married my best friend. He's the most amazing man I've ever met--short of my daddy of course. We have 3 crazy kitties that keep us beyond entertained (Sammie, Gray, and Hudson). And, we are lucky enough to have friends and family that truly love us.
Enough about me. The purpose of this little blogging experiment is to give me a place where I can unwind for the day, put down all of the funny things that my patients say--I work with the elderly, so there is always something amusing going on, and remind myself that there is more to life than just my job. Hence, Speechie's Secret Life.
